Dr. Thomas Baker grew up in Upper Darby PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. Playing many different types of sports, including football, baseball and motocross he has developed great respect for athletes and competitors of all types.
Dr. Baker has practiced in the Lake Wallenpaupack area for the past ten years and has been practicing chiropractic since 2003. He started working in the medical field performing various tasks at the age of 19 at a community hospital in Delaware County PA. While working in the hospital setting, his experience in the emergency room prepared him well for the 6 years of active Army National Guard duty as an advanced battlefield medic while serving as an Infantryman.
Dr. Baker graduated from Life University in March of 2003. He was involved with multiple clubs that focused on specific adjusting techniques to optimize patient outcomes. His academic endeavors have launched him into a rewarding career that continues to advance and evolve.
Dr. Baker’s continued interests in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation including treatment of extremities furthered his accomplishments in obtaining Certification in this field.
Dr. Baker enjoys spending time with his family including his three sons Tommy, Daniel and William and his girlfriend. Fishing, bike riding, snowmobiling and skiing are some of the activities they engage in.
